Your Handicap is set at the beginning of the season and then reviewed quarterly throughout the season, therefore your handicap will change 4 times of the season.
The committee will set all players handicaps.
The handicaps are adjusted by taking the difference between your wins and losses and multiplying by 2.
So if you won 3 more frames that you lost you would get 6 points deducted from your start of season handicap. If you lost 2 more frames that you won you would get 4 points added to your start of the season handicap.
Anybody who’s difference is greater than +5 or -5 was subjected to a discussion by the committee and their handicap maybe tweaked to prevent a ridiculous change.
No Maximum/Minimum handicap for this season.
The handicaps will then be placed in 10 tiers:
Tier 1 -22 and below
Tier 2 -21 to -11
Tier 3 -11 to -1
Tier 4 0 to +10
Tier 5 +11 to +20
Tier 6 +21 to +30
Tier 7 +31 to +40
Tier 8 +41 to +50
Tier 9 +51 to +60
Tier 10 +61 and above
Every higher tier you will get +8 on your score. For example if you are in tier 2 and you play someone in tier 3 you will have to catch up 8 in the match. If you are playing someone in tier 6 you will have to catch up 32 points. The max someone can give is +70 which would only happen if tier 1 player meets tier 10 player
